Apple is introducing their new initiative “Everyone can code”, where they will be supporting deaf and blind students, encouraging them to keep climbing and learn to code in the easiest way possible. The program will start in 8 schools and will employ “Voiceover” – sophisticated screen-reading technology for people with vision impairments, and other specialized technology for students with hearing impairments. Apple hopes to encourage these students to pursue in-demand STEM careers.
